From Chiang Mai to Pai, Mae Hong Son and Mae Sariang, the 2026 Widow Sons Thailand Ride Out delivered spectacular scenery, challenging weather, unforgettable camaraderie and a renewed commitment to Brotherhood and charity.
Three days, 700 kilometres, and an unforgettable journey through Northern Thailand with the Widows Sons. As an Entered Apprentice and guest rider, I joined five Brothers on a spectacular route through Pai, Mae Hong Son and Mae Sariang. More than a motorcycle trip, it was a lesson in Brotherhood, friendship, charity and the enduring bonds of Freemasonry.
Two motorcycle journeys through Northern Thailand revealed very different experiences. One was a fast paced group ride through Pai and Mae Sariang, the other a solo adventure to Chiang Rai and Nan via the legendary Route 1148. Along the way came lessons about riding, packing light, respecting mountain roads, and why Northern Thailand remains one of the world’s great motorcycling destinations.
Brothers from Thailand, the Philippines, Canada and the United States gathered in Pattaya for the Widows Sons Thailand Branding Ceremony. Before the evening celebrations began, members raised an impressive 50,000 THB for Take Care Kids, demonstrating the true spirit of Brotherhood, charity and international friendship.
